“Kiss me!!
Close your eyes and miss me!
I can read your lips on my finger-tips, I can see your smile come on my lips and happiness all around!!!”

So, did you just read this sentence above as if you it was a boring article from a business journal or the moment you read the first two words, a sweet female voice started humming in your mind and you didn’t even need to read the lines ahead, because your lips would automatically start singing the song?

Well, if you belong to the latter category, I shouldn’t even be asking you the source of this nationwide famous tune right?

Well, you guessed it correctly! It’s the catchy tune of India’s finest and most popular chocolate brand which took the entire nation in its stride – “Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk”!

After launching the first version which spread love like wild fire, Mondelez International, the brain behind the mouth-watering names like Oreo, Nabisco, Cadbury and Cadbury Dairy Milk, the company rolled out India’s first ever ‘center-filled’ chocolate – Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Caramello. Needless to say, loved by one and all, they then came up with India’s yet another first aerated chocolate – the Dairy Milk Silk Bubbly and now, after running through several innovations, Mondelez International and Cadbury India have finally come up with the “Dairy Milk Silk Oreo”, one of a kind and India’s first ever cookie chocolate.

Now, for fans of Oreo and Cadbury, this is of course a marriage straight outta heaven. India’s favorite cookie biscuit combined with India’s favorite chocolate!! To launch this one-of-a-kind and already successful by the time you read this article, Prashant Peres, the Marketing Director of Mondelez India launched a special event in collaboration with India’s premium food blogging community – the Food Bloggers Association of India. With much fanfare, we had popular and talented Chef Michel Swamy stirring up a storm in the kitchen with enthusiastic food bloggers as they cooked up dishes made out of this mouth-watering luscious chocolate.

Dishes like Chocolate Salted Tart Recipe, Chocolate Chili Salad, Chocolate Orange Cheesecake and Chocolate Pizzas made the rounds, the participants could simply not stop licking their fingers, like the protagonists featuring their latest advert.

After a round of some serious and fun cooking with our talented chef, Mr. Peres then took to the microphone to give us a brief description about this brand new product. What’s special about this new chocolate as mentioned by Mr. Peres is that –
“It’s a beautiful combination of smooth and crunchy. It is a unique product format. It has the smooth, creamy, much loved premium chocolate brand – Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk on the outside and the globally loved Biscuit brand – crunchy Oreo cookie and vanilla cream on the inside, which combines to give you an indulgent yet crunchy Silk experience!”

Well, we surely fell in love with this brand new Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Oreo. Priced at Rs.75 and Rs.170, this is surely one indulgent crunchy experience! So have you had yours??
