Our verdict?

Given that this is one-of-a-kind event to grace the Mumbai city, you should definitely not miss this one. Besides, who wouldn't want to sit at the tallest lounge with a bird eye's view of the city, sipping on cocktails made by the world's finest? Go and have this amazing experience!

In today’s age of “bans” where almost every other thing you know is getting banned, there is one thing which used to be banned but now seems to have made a glorious comeback. Yes, it’s the fancy shaped Arabian way of passing time – “hookah” or “shisha”. With every new restaurant opening up in this “Maximum City” of Mumbai, we have yet another shisha outlet to try. So, if you are one of those folks who has no clue about the best and the newest of the shisha places in Mumbai, have a look at these places below (arranged in no specific order):

1. Vortex South, Marine Lines – A vegetarian place but a sheesha heaven, what we simply love about Vortex is their fancy shisha shapes. From a fruit orchard shape to the fancy LED ones, we sure fell in love with these hookahs.

2. TRE, Lower Parel – The latest entry in the Raghuvanshi Mills Compound, TRE stands for three – food, drink and shisha and we now why shisha plays such an important part in the title. Pots and ingredients imported all the way from Dubai, TRE serves you some kick-ass shisha on their eclectic roof-top environment. The only constraint – it’s an all-vegetarian place! But if you plan to miss out on the place for that reason, you are missing out on one of the best shisha places in town.

3. 24 Sheesha Lounge, Bandra – Although 24 Sheesha Lounge has opened up in 4 places: BKC, Khar, Borivli and Kandivli, we call dibs on the BKC one to be the best. With a panoramic view of the airport and the business hub of Bandra, the view is not the only thing this place offers as they have some pretty amazing shishas served with delectable food and cocktails.
Recommendation – Mint flavored with milk-base.
Prices - Rs.700 onwards.

4. Sheesha Sky Lounge, Andheri West – Yet another place which has multiple outlets across the city, but we’ve fallen in love with their Andheri one. Housed in a bustling lane near Fun Republic Andheri, this massive place has a huge rooftop complete with a small dance floor, private dining spaces and even a massive projection for match screenings at the top. For a romantic outing, this would be THE perfect place.
Recommendation – Any of their shishas with milk-base.
Price – Rs.1000 onwards.

5. Zulu Terrace, Andheri – Another rooftop from the Andheri belt, Zulu serves few of the cheapest shishas in this list. Starting at 500 on the weekdays and going up to 1200 over the weekends, Zulu has a terrific and inviting ambiance with the DJ spinning some sick beats which are audible all the way below on their road-side entrance.
Price – Rs.500 on weekdays, Rs.700 after 7pm. Rs.1000 on weekends.

6. Take it Easy, Andheri – Famous for their gun-shaped hookah pots, Take it Easy has a soothing ambiance with good music to have a fun time out with your friends. Apart from the funky AK47 shaped shisha which is priced at Rs.1000, they also have an Eiffel Tower-shaped and Khalil Mamoon, which is the local hookah of Dubai served here. Not just that, this place also serves shishas in fruits, if you ask for one. So if you are looking for a watermelon flavored shisha, you might actually end up getting served one in a watermelon!

Play - the Lounge, Lower Parel – A happening nightclub, a drunken games extravaganza, a food heaven and also an indoor shisha place, Play is right there on the top with its mind-blowing ambiance, food et al. As for the shishas, a private lounge area only for the dedicated smokers, what else could you ask for?

8. Opa! Bar and Cafe, Andheri East – You simply cannot not complete this list without mentioning Opa! A scintillating rooftop, spread over a huge area, with a Middle East feel and ambiance, Opa is the place to go for celebrity hunting. Also, they have some pretty kick-ass shishas.

9. Verbena – BrewPub & SkyGarden, Lower Parel – The only place in Mumbai serving e-Shishas, an electronic variant of the traditional hookah, Verbena is also a brewery on its own with some crazy interiors and smashing food. The apple of the eye, of course, is their innovative e-Shishas.

10. Anarchy, Andheri – An ideal pub with hold on, 40 unique flavors! Yeah, you heard it right! The second club on this list, Anarchy is a brilliant 2300 sq. ft. night-place with a separate VIP area as well. You can have their amazing shishas outside in the 800 sq. ft. area. Shishas are served from 11pm – 2am.

11. The Tipsy Townhouse, Fort – They don’t have them fancy shapes, but as they say, simplicity sometimes is the best. Starting from Rs.699 onwards, you have a lot of options ranging from milk-based for extra smoke, vodka and lemon based, ice based for cold smoke and mint leaves for the cold punch. And as with most of the places, you can take away their long filters home and bring it back whenever you come again to smoke.

12. 1 Above, Lower Parel – Another vegetarian place alert!!!! But the interiors and especially the shisha here is bound to make any carnivore fall in love with this place. Worth trying are their ice-based shishas.

13. Bombay Cartel, Worli – (Yet to open!) Come February 25, 2017, a brand new place is about to open up in the Atria Mall, Worli. Paying homage to the 80s ear of Mumbai, Bombay Cartel will have the swag of mafia and those times. Edgy ambiance and lavish interiors, Bombay Cartel is all set to become a permanent member of the Mumbai nightlife.

Needless to say, loved by one and all, they then came up with India’s yet another first aerated chocolate – the Dairy Milk Silk Bubbly and now, after running through several innovations, Mondelez International and Cadbury India have finally come up with the “Dairy Milk Silk Oreo”, one of a kind and India’s first ever cookie chocolate.

Now, for fans of Oreo and Cadbury, this is of course a marriage straight outta heaven. India’s favorite cookie biscuit combined with India’s favorite chocolate!! To launch this one-of-a-kind and already successful by the time you read this article, Prashant Peres, the Marketing Director of Mondelez India launched a special event in collaboration with India’s premium food blogging community – the Food Bloggers Association of India. With much fanfare, we had popular and talented Chef Michel Swamy stirring up a storm in the kitchen with enthusiastic food bloggers as they cooked up dishes made out of this mouth-watering luscious chocolate.

After a round of some serious and fun cooking with our talented chef, Mr. Peres then took to the microphone to give us a brief description about this brand new product. What’s special about this new chocolate as mentioned by Mr. Peres is that –
